1. POLYTECHNIC COMMON ENTRANCE TEST· POLYCET-2017. 

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad will conduct “Polytechnic 

Common Entrance Test – POL YCET -2017” for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma 

Courses in Engineering and Non-Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics/Institutions ( including 

Govt./Aided and Unaided polytechnics/ Institutions and 2°d shift Polytechnics in Private Engineering 

Colleges) in Telangana State for the academic year 2017-18. 

1. Eligibility to appear for POLYCET-2017. 

Candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent & recognized by the Board of Secondary 

Education, TS., Hyderabad are eligible. The candidates who have compartmentally passed or appearing for 

SSC are also eligible to apply. However, they must have passed in all the subjects before seeking the admission.
